Some Cute Pictures...

Yesterday, Rebecca and I went outside to have fun and take pictures. It was very cute. She was running around, counting ladybugs [which have infested our house and yard]. And, thankfully, I was actually able to catch her on video. Which, I have yet to be able to do. YEAH!

Adirondack Museum

On Friday, we had some visitors – Melissa came over with Riley, and I was able to snap some cute pictures of the two of them. They were adorable with each other.

This past Saturday, Dan, Rebecca, and I drove to the Adirondack Museum. We had spectacular weather for walking around. On the way to the museum, we saw Kate, and her sister Meg, and her mother Carol. It was great to see all of the Raquette Lake girlies. Plus, Rebecca loved seeing them and Kate’s dog, Ruby. And now, she can actually say Ruby. For a while there, it was coming out “Poopy,” which was funny, but mildly inappropriate. Anyway – at the museum, you could see snow on the top of Blue Mountain. And the exhibits were really cool. I remember going there when I was younger, but it definitely has improved. I loved the view from the museum, and my favorite part was seeing the different cottages decked out in period furniture.

At Grandma and Grandpa's

Well, we are at the Clark household for the afternoon, as my father and I have a joint family party this evening for our birthdays. I was looking forward to playing outside with Rebecca today, but holy moly, has it gotten cold fast. It is a good thing I always over prepare, and I packed her winter clothes [i.e. boots, mittens, snowpants, etc.].

This Saturday, the fam is going up to Blue Mountain Lake to visit the museum. I am sooooo super-de-duper excited, as there is a quilt exhibition on display! We will definitely have pictures up from the travels on Saturday night.

Pumpkins!

This weekend has been tons of fun...yesterday, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Beth, Ryan, and Colleen came to visit us. They watched Rebecca while Dan and I went to the season opener for the Adirondack Phantoms. It was crazy! There was a couple of fights right in front of us, and during one, they threw fists and there was BLOOD on the ice! AWESOME! And today, we went to Sunnyside Farms for pumpkins. It was great. Rebecca loved seeing all of the pumpkins, climbing the hay mound, and especially seeing the train and the tractor.
We got lots of good pictures this weekend -

Smartie Pants and other Fun!

Rebecca and Dan. Cute, eh?

So, yes, I do know that you might mock me for bragging, but my child is the super-smartest kid in the world! She can already count to ten [this happened this past Saturday], and for those of you who roll your eyes and say, "Pish! It is a fluke!" she has done it every day since. Hehe. And, she also sings with me when I sing the ABC song [among other songs she knows the lyrics to].

Now, onto more fun things. This past Friday, we met Beth, Kevin, Ryan, and Colleen at the Adirondack Balloon Festival at the Warren County Airport. It was so much fun! Rebecca loved it. Each time a balloon would take off, she would clap and shout, "Yeah balloon!" And, she also was a boogie queen - there was music playing while the balloons were rising, and she couldn't help but dance! I think her favorite balloon was the fish balloon - or was that my favorite? :>)
