Weekend to Weekend

"Mmmmmmmmm...yummy hat"

Whoooo-Weeeeee, we have had some busy weekends. Last weekend, Dan was away hunting in the Moose River Plains, near Indian Lake. Mom and I went up to the Carter's outlet in Lake George. While we were out, we went to Johnny Rocket's [a burger joint], and Becca had her first french fries!! She loves them. Then, on Sunday, we went with Beth, Ryan, and Colleen to Sunnyside Gardens to get some pumpkins. It was an amusing trip; we all went in the same van, so it was funny to hear all of the kids talking to each other. And, I am sure they got their giggles in to see Beth and me trying to put in the back seat of the van. :>) Anyways, here are some more pictures I have taken this week. And, we are looking forward to heading out west to Regan's 4th Birthday Party!

Just Learning...

Well, this is the first official blog posting that I will ever make. I have followed in the footsteps of both of my sister-in-laws it seems. So, while I have avoided it thus far like the plague, I have decided that it is in fact a great way to keep everyone informed about events in our lives.

Right now, Miss Becca is almost crawling. She rolls over like crazy, and I have found numerous marks on her head because she rolls into things. She also likes to walk. [With balance help, of course!] Becca is standing by herself; I just have to be near, as she gets so excited with what she is playing with that she throws herself backwards.

This week was my birthday, so we have lots of dinner events to attend. Last night, we went to dinner at our neighbors' house, and Ryan [Becca's cousin] made cupcakes. They were quite tasty! [Thanks Ryan!] Tonight, we go to Grandma and Grandpa Clark's house for dinner. And tomorrow, I am making lasagna for the neighbors.

Hopefully, the weather will continue to be nice so we can get outside and get our exercise. Or, at least walk around Round Lake after we visit the library!
