Weekend and...A HOUSE!!!!!

Well, lots of big news. First of all, this past weekend was fantastic! Becca and I met Colleen, Ryan, and Beth at the playground in Kelly Park, which is Ballston Spa. It was so much fun. At first, Becca was definitely a little nervous. But, she got used to all of the different surfaces under her feet, and loved climbing the stairs.

Then, on Saturday, we went to Whitehall to visit Dan's grandma and other relatives. It was so much fun to walk around the farm with Becca. She loves being outdoors - she points to everything and says, "Dat?" or "Dat. Dat. What's DAT!!!"

And Sunday, Dan, his brother Kevin, and his father put up a swing set. So now, when we go to Grandma and Grandpa's house, not only is there a huge yard to play in, but a super-nice swing set to play on. Becca loved going down the slide.

And now, for the huge news - Dan and I are buying our first house! It is in Queensbury, with Glens Falls schools. We are so excited. Our offer was accepted on Friday, and attorney review ended today, so we can officially say that it is ours! We went to the bank today to apply for a mortgage, and we have an inspection tomorrow. It is a brand new house. Brand spanking new. We are super lucky. And did I mention excited??

Easter Weekend

This past weekend was wonderful! Dan took Friday off, so we had a wonderful three-day fun-fest. On Friday, we took a trip to the playground. It was so much fun! It was Rebecca's first time, and she especially loved the tunnel. On Saturday, we went to Glens Falls to do some "drive-bys," where we drive past houses that are on the market to see if we like the location and neighborhood. We also were able to see Melissa and Tim's newly purchased house - it was really nice! Rebecca loved running from room to room, chasing their dog Dakota. And then, on Sunday, we visited both sets of grandparents, played quite a bit, and had an awesome Easter dinner. Here are some pictures from the weekend -
