This past weekend was pretty nifty - we all went to Colleen's first-birthday party! It was great fun seeing Colleen eat her cupcake, and marvel at her presents. Rebecca loves to watch her cousins, and talk to them. It's so funny watching Becca try to kiss them as well. [My daughter is SUCH a kisser!!]
Dan is gone this week on a business trip in Omaha. Which is stinky, because he will also be gone next week to hunt. But, we will see him Friday night, which is nice. We miss him!
Rebecca is finally sleeping a little better. I am feeding her a bowl of cereal during her bedtime routine. And the past three nights, she has only woken up once, which is quite a change from waking up every hour and a half to two hours. That was stinky. But, as not to jinx it, I will not talk about it any more.

SLEEP?
Well...it's a good thing that Rebecca is so cute, because she is having a dickens of a time getting and staying to sleep. Not just at night, but during the day. This phase started a few weeks ago, but has truly taken on a force of its own. I think it is a combination of things, her teething, her inability to tire herself out, and now her cold. But, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! One of her top teeth is coming in, and she is crawling, which will tire her out as she gets better. Phew. I am planning my sister's bridal shower, which is kinda freaking me out, as I don't feel that I should have a sister that is old enough to get married. But, it should be fun...I want tons and tons of yummy desserts, which will be fun to make!

Halloween Weekend
Awww...Well, Rebecca was a pumpkin for Halloween - an EXTREMELY cute pumpkin, at that! We went to Grandma's school in the morning, and she showed Rebecca off to all of the teachers and staff. Then, we went next door to see our neighbors, a very adorable butterfly and a super fireman. The weather was beautiful! Then, on Saturday, Beth, Ryan, Colleen, Rebecca, and I went to Kohl's in Beth's van. Dan went to Whitehall, and moved his tree-stand to a new location. We went to Grandma's for dinner again, and had lasagna. Then, we all came home, and Dan and I watched the new Indy Jones flick, in which we were severely disappointed. The whole premise was quite unbelievable. And today, more time at Grandma and Grandpa's house!
