Race Track

Two weeks ago, Dan took off from work, and we were able to go to both the Washington County Fair and Moreau Lake State Park. The fair was fantastic! So many animals to see. Rebecca walked all over - we looked at tractors, cows, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and on and on. And after a nice lunch at the fair, we went home for a nap. Then, the beach! It was so nice that Dan was able to go to the beach with us - Becca and I go every week, and she loves it, so it was wonderful that Dan was able to see her play in the water and on the playground.

Last Thursday, we went to the Saratoga Race Course with Aunt Beth, Ryan, Colleen, and Grandma. Rebecca LOVED it! It was absolutely adorable: she stood at the fence, watching the horses, yelling, "HORSE! HORSE! HORSE!" Then, when the horses would pass by, she would say, "Hi!" and the jockeys would smile, and say "Hi!" right back. To bad they didn't know she was really talking to the horses.
Then, as we were leaving, a horse crossed in front of our path and proceeded to go to the bathroom. The hilarious bit was Colleen telling her mom, "Stinky neigh neigh. P.U. Stinky neigh neigh."
