This past weekend, the fam went to see Thomas the Very Useful Engine in North Creek, and then from there, drove up to Raquette Lake. Rebecca, who has quite an obsession with Thomas, absolutely loved the whole experience. We had been talking about riding on Thomas for a few days before the trip, but when we got there, I think it really hit her. We took pictures with Thomas and Sir Topham Hat, and played with a few train sets. And, we rode on a train "pulled" by Thomas. She loved the fact that Thomas' whistle blew, and that steam came out of his funnel.
Then, we drove up to Raquette Lake. The weather was gorgeous...and, it was great to see Auntie Kate and her dog Ruby, as well as some other friends up at the lake.
Some pictures from weekend. We went to a playground in Inlet, and walked along the docks. There was a cool pirate ship, which Becca loved. It was also super windy - which Rebecca also loved, as evident in the bench pictures.
